What class is best for a first timer?
Burst 101 is our introductory spinning class that covers bike set-up, hand positioning and form. If you can’t find a Burst 101 class that fits your schedule, join a Burst Ride and the instructor will teach you everything you need to know.
Hatha Yoga is our foundational yoga class. It takes a slower and meditative approach. The instructor can help you execute any confusing postures and will make sure your form is correct.
What if I haven’t worked out in a while?
You choose the intensity of your workout. That’s the beauty of Burst.
Our instructors offer an encouraging environment that will motivate you to perform to the best of your personal ability, but you decide how hard you want to work during any given session.
When are you open?
Burst studios are open 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after all scheduled classes. If you’re interested in touring the studio at another time or purchasing gift certificates, contact the studio to schedule a time.
Do you have locker rooms?
Our studios have men’s and women’s locker rooms available before and after class.
What type of music do you play?
If it’s got a beat, we rock with it! Each class features its own playlist that is created by the instructor and matches their teaching style. You can look at our instructor profiles to find the instructor who’s best for you.
Don’t forget to keep an eye on our schedule for Theme Rides that feature all kinds of music and eras.
Do you have memberships?
Burst offers unlimited monthly packages, in addition to single session passes and 5, 10, 15 and 20 session packages. The more sessions you purchase, the less it costs per session.
No membership required, though!
Can I reserve a bike?
Yes! Our online bike reservation system is great if you want to ride next to a friend or save your usual spot in the studio.
What do I need to bring with me to class?
You’ll want to wear comfortable workout gear and avoid baggy pants. If you don’t have cycling shoes, you can borrow a pair from us for free. You can also wear athletic shoes, just make sure they’re squeaky clean.
Oh, and don’t forget water!
What is your class etiquette?
- Don’t forget to sign in.
- Be ready for class five minutes before it is scheduled to start.
- Once music is rocking, no talking.
- Respect others. (No cell phones!)
- Wipe your bike or mat down after class.
How do I reserve or cancel a class?
You can reserve and cancel classes online under “Schedule.” You may also call the studio for assistance.
What is your cancellation & no-show policy?
You must cancel your class at least eight hours before it begins, otherwise you’ll lose a session or be charged $5 for a late cancelation fee on monthly unlimited packages. If you are a no-show for a reserved class, you will lose a session or be charged $10 under a monthly unlimited package. We reserve the right to give your spot to the next person on the wait list if you haven’t arrived at least 5 minutes before class begins.
Do membership packages expire?
Yes. The expiration is noted when you purchase the package, although the clock doesn’t start until you participate in your first session. Expirations vary per package. Contact the studio with questions.
